Mothers day orders are shipped!

This was a custom order so I used custom digitizing . You type in any phrase you want and viola' you embroider your personal phrase or words. I have a machine that only does 4x4 designs so I had to omit words and shrink down the font size to get it right. The designs are $6 each so that charge goes directly to the orderer.
For this apron the customer wanted mint green and songbirds. I had a heck of a time finding pretty fabric and went with a solid  with a patterned flounce and coordinating ties. I also doubled the length of the waist ties so that you can tie it in front for a more defined silhouette.

Seattle Aquarium

 I love the Seattle Aquarium. They have multiple otter exhibits as well as interpretive guides to the Puget Sound. I also adore puffins and the northern fur seal. But the otters win for cuteness! There are a wide variety of tropical and local fish to stare at. The pacific octopus is a winner and has even caused an uproar when they placed him in a tank with sharks and the sharks got the shit end of the deal. My video has a bit of them all but of course extra otter photos.
