This was a custom order so I used
custom digitizing . You type in any phrase you want and viola' you embroider your personal phrase or words. I have a machine that only does 4x4 designs so I had to omit words and shrink down the font size to get it right. The designs are $6 each so that charge goes directly to the orderer.
For this apron the customer wanted mint green and songbirds. I had a heck of a time finding pretty fabric and went with a solid with a patterned flounce and coordinating ties. I also doubled the length of the waist ties so that you can tie it in front for a more defined silhouette.
